Hi our names are Lauren and Billy, we have worked on both questions.  Our answer for the socks question is 2 and the answer for the football question is 86,221.

Hi our names are Jessica and George we have worked out your last question by Gerard and your first question by Anna. The answer to your last question is 86.221 the answer to the first question is 2.

This is Aitana and here you are my challenge:

You are in a dark room.

There is a cupboard with three drawers. In the first drawer at the top there are 20 pairs of white socks and 20 pairs of black socks.

Questions: How many socks do I have to take from the drawer at least to get 2 socks of the same colour?

 

Anna Carrera has prepared this for you:

Look at this dog made of sticks. It seems it is walking along the street.

But suddenly a car runs over the dog.

Now what’s the dog’s shape once the car has run over him.  Only move 2 sticks.

 

Gerard loves football and here you are his challenge:

In Barcelona Football Club pitch 99.000 people can have a seat.

At 8.00 the stadium gates are opened and people can get into it.

At 10.00 PM 11.000 supporters have just arrived and there are still 1.779 empty seats.

Question: How many people were the in the stadium at 9.59 PM?
